Romanian companies estimating profits growth in 2017 down in the last six months

The number of companies from Romania estimating a growth of profits in 2017 went down in the last six months, from 21 percent in the spring of 2017, to only 12 percent in September, according to the preliminary data of the study presented by Elena Badea, managing director of the research company Valoria.

The study shows that 31 percent of the surveyed companies said they will increase the salaries, compared with the answers from the spring research edition, when 41 percent were wiling to increase the wages in their companies.

At the same time, 32 percent of the surveyed companies said the growth rate of their profit was to be between 1 and 5 percent, while 20 percent of the companies planned to grow the investments between 5 and 10 percent compared with 2016.
