Romania calls for investment projects under state aid worth RON 638 mln

The Ministry of Public Finance opened on Monday an application session for state aid requests with a budget of RON 638 million, based on the investments stimulation scheme with high impact on the economy, according to Agerpres.

The requests, together with justificative documents, are sent via post mail, via the delivery services with admission confirmation or can be submitted personally at the General Registry of the Ministry with the mention ‘the implementation unit of state aid scheme regulated by law’ on the envelope.

The requests should be submitted in the period July 11- August 22, the ones submitted after this period will be restored to enterprises an are not taken into consideration in the analysis process.

The Ministry is finalizing the selection process of agreement requests for financing in maximum five working days from the closure date of the submission session and it publishes the results on its site.

“The order of requests submissions to the General Registry of Public Finance Ministry  has no relevance in the selection process. The agreement requests for financing that weer not selected in the budget limit allocated to the session will be restores to the enterprises via post mail, with delivery confirmation,” says the Ministry.

„The objective of the state aid scheme is represented by the regional development through the investments achievement support with important effects on the economy. They are given under grants from the budget state, through eligible expenses. Until now, eight projects of investments were approved for which a state aid was approved valued at RON 396.9 million, ” adds the Ministry.
