Romaero’s shareholders revoke board’s president, appoint four board members

The shareholders of the state-owned air transportation company Romaero revoke the board’s president Mircea Toma Modran and appoint four members in the board, according to the Bucharest Stock exchange (BVB).

They also revoked Teodor Iulian Gheorghe, and chose four new members of the board: Alexandru Buscu, Doina Variu and Adriana Sirzea, for four months period, and Aurelian Mircea Radu Trifa, for four years mandate starting December 14.

Also the shareholders will choose two members in the board, a topic of the meeting from December 14.

For the first nine months of the year, Romaero registered losses of RON 16.95 million, an year-on-year decrease by 37 percent.  The company has 760 employees and a market value of RON 170.5 million.
