RBS Romania appoints new Communication and Marketing Director

RBS Romania has appointed Marijana Vasilescu as its new Communication and Marketing Director, starting September 2010. She previously held the position of Deputy Director for Retail Clients, where she coordinated the Royal Preferred Banking division of the bank and the Marketing and Product Management departments.

Vasilescu joined the bank in 2004, when it was still ABN AMRO Romania, and since then she occupied various positions such as Marketing Director, Royal Preferred Banking Director, Deputy Retail Clients Director. In between 2006 and 2008 she was Retail Clients Director for ABN AMRO Russia. Before joining the banks she worked in companies in FMCG: Masterfoods Romania and Unilever South Central Europe.
