“The new Board will fulfill a strategic remit, assuming an active role in further developing the RICS membership, propagating its long established standards and best practices to all market players and engaging with the most active professional bodies and institutional players within the property community in order to achieve a more transparent, mature and safer business environment,”said Boitan.

The institution says that its strategy in Romania includes increasing the communication with its members and candidates, offering coaching and support for the APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) students and senior professional candidates through examples of studies, guidance notes, standards, best practices for each business line. Another line of action will be promoting the RICS Red Book and exploring the possibilities of translating them into Romanian language.
