Quatar Airways will operate flights from Bucharest to Sofia starting September 14. The flights will be operated four times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Fare fees are priced starting from EUR 139.
The Bucharest Sofia route is currently served with direct flights by Bulgaria Air and Tarom.
Qatar Airways currently operates flights to over 100 destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America with a modern fleet of 98 aircraft.
Over the last six months, Qatar Airways has added 10 new routes to its global network – Bucharest (Romania), Budapest (Hungary), Brussels (Belgium), Stuttgart (Germany), Aleppo (Syria), Shiraz (Iran), Venice (Italy), Montreal (Canada), Medina (Saudi Arabia) and Kolkata (India).
Qatar Airways introduces further routes from Doha over the next few months, including the Norwegian capital Oslo from October 5; Entebbe in Uganda from November 2; Azerbaijan capital, Baku and the Georgian capital Tbilisi, on February 1 2012.
