PSD and PNL form coalition to win presidential elections

PNL has signed the agreement mentioning that if the PSD candidate wins, Klaus Johannis will be named prime minister.  Johannis, the current Sibiu city mayor, was PNL’s option for prime minister after the current government has received a vote of non confidence in the Parliament. However, Traian Basescu didn’t nominate Johannis for the position. PNL had previously formed a coalition with the Democratic Party (PD).
