The Road of Kings-Transalpina, directed by Dumitru Budrala, had a preview on Saturday, July 30 within the festival “Up in the mountain from Jina”, in front of an audience comprising 10,000 people.
Budrala documented about his childhood places and told the story of the inhabitants of those places and of the mythology of the Road of Kings, making the movie The Road of Kings-Transalpina.
“We are very glad that we had the honor to present in premiere the movie The Road of Kings-Transalpina, here next to the Road of Kings. An extremely good surprise was the overwhelming interest of people for this movie, 10,000 spectators, much over our expectations. The public who saw the movie expresses the interest and need of people of discovering the physical space where they live and the real or imaginary stories that bound them to these unique landscapes. In this movie I tried to gather and tell the stories that happened during centuries in these internationally appreciated places for their beauty and uniqueness, “ said the director.
“The movie is the testimony of Dumitru Budrala. The movie is fabulous and so necessary as our roots for their inheritors, “ added Emil Hurezean the Romanian Ambassador at Berlin.
The movie will be launched in September.
