President Iohannis: There is no reason to raise the terrorist alert level in Romania

President Iohannis announced on Tuesday that there is no reason to raise the terrorist alert level in Romania at the moment, according to Agerpres.

He said that taking into account the multiplication of the attacks in Europe, as well as the events from France and Germany, an evaluation of the security state of Romania from the risks perspective and terror threats was presented in the Supreme Council of Country Defence (CSAT) .

„I was assured by all the state institutions with the specific responsibilities that there is no reason to determine the necessity of raising the terrorist alert level more than it is now at blue cautious, ” said Iohannis in a press briefing after the CSAT meeting.
