Prime-minister Mihai Tudose will visit Brussels on Monday and Tuesday, where he will meet the European officials, according to the press office of the Government.
This is the first visit of Tudose in Brussels, who will be accompanied by the delegate minister for European Affairs, Victor Negrescu.
According to Negrescu, during the meeting Romanian officials with say that the country will respect “all the commitments previously taken” and that it aims to have “a very good collaboration with the European partners”.
„The PM will have a meeting with the president of the European Commission, mister Juncker (Jean-Claude Juncker – e.n.) (…) He will meet with all the important officials at the level of the European institutions- the president of the Council, the president of the European Parliament and probably a part of the commissioners. Of course, we’ll meet with the commissioner Corina Cretu and mister Timmermans (Frans Timmermans – e.n.),” said Negrescu.
