PM Grindeanu appoints Catalin Cosmin Olteanu as State Secretary

Catalin Cosmin Olteanu was appointed Stat Secretary with the Ministry of Finance. Starting 2014 and until now, he served as State Secretary with the Ministry of Economy.

Catalin Cosmin Olteanu was born on 20 January 1974. In 1997 he graduated from the Faculty of History and Geography in the Valahia University of Targoviste and, the same year, graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Titu Maiorescu University.

Between 1997 and 1998, Olteanu was a history professor at Doicesti, a commune in Dambovita County and between 1998 and 2003 was editor in chief of the Radio Dambovita sports department.

Olteanu was head of department at Antena 1 Targoviste, regional director of the Targoviste National FM Radio, general director of SC Eunomina SRL and Saro Prod SRL, and in 2013 was appointed Vice-president of the National Authority for Qualifications.

Between 2012 and 2014, Olteanu was a County councillor with the Dambovita County Council, and in 2013 he became head of the Dambovita Conservatory Party.
