Planet Group International’s turnover exceeds EUR 7 mln in 2017

Planet Group International, a supplier of business and document management optimisation solutions, exceeded a EUR 7 million turnover in 2017, with a 44 percent growth on the previous year.

The organisation is represented on the local market by RO Planet, which generates revenues of over EUR 4 million, from sales both to Romanian clients as well as exports. Founded in 1998 in Cluj-Napoca, RO Planet carries out software projects in large companies in the energy, banking and insurance industries.

In 2017, Planet Group International developed and implemented solutions for the management of banking and insurance processes, as well as applications for optimising operations and technical documentation in large project in the energy sector. The projects were carried out in large and very large companies in Romania and other countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The company acts as a hub in Romania, and the implementation teams for the various international projects are formed of specialists from the 10 global organisations of Planet Group. Locally, the company has offices in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.

For 2018, Planet Group International wants to strengthen its presence in countries in Central and Eastern Europe and in Russia, to uphold its growth pace and hire new specialists.
