Romanian aa‚¬a€œ German software developer gets USD 100,000 application award from Google

Google has awarded Romanian – German company iQuest USD 100,000 for a software application which will be integrated into the Android operation system, which Google is developing. iQuest has made an application for tourism and participated in the Android Developer Challenge competition, which is now at its second edition. 200 applications qualified for the final stage of the competition, 20 in each category. iQuest’s application, called Trip Journal has become one of the best ten application developed in 2009 for the Android system. The software follows routes through GPS and helps visualize market positions on Google Maps. Trip Journal will also be downloadable for iPhone terminals. iQuest owns software development centers in Cluj Napoca and Brasov, being headquartered in Frankfurt.
