The most searched holiday package destinations of charter type are Greece, both in Zakynthos, Crete and Rhodos; Spain with Costa Brava, Tenerife, Costa Blanca, Mallorca and Gran Canaria; Portugal with Algarve and Estoril & Cascais. The tariffs for a holiday in Greece start from EUR 380/person, Spain from EUR 395/person and for Portugal with EUR 547/person.
“Romanian tourists learned to book their tickets in Early Booking period, when they benefit from a discount, “ said Ondina Dobriban, general director Paralela 45.
“The Early Booking clients are 23-45 years old and prefer to pay online or via payment link for remote acquisition, in multiple installments, via credit cards with zero interest. They are active persons, who don’t have to much time to waste, “ added Dobriban.
Turkey maintains itself as a popular destination, with sales from the Early Booking period increasing by 90 percent year-on-year. Holiday packages in Turkey with discounts in Early Booking period start from EUR 370/person, all taxes included.
The bookings for Romanian seaside focus on Mamaia resorts, Eforie Nord, Neptun and Venus, for all inclusive services or hotels with children facilities. Most of the demands are for 4-star hotels, followed by 3-star hotels.
