OTP Bank Romania partners with EximBank to support SMEs

OTP Bank Romania and EximBank announced the signing of a partnership that allows SMEs to benefit from a new instrument of guarantees that facilitates access to credits, both for supporting current activities, as well as for carrying out investment projects.

The new product generated by the partnership between OTP Bank Romania and EximBank provide SME clients with the possibility to access rapidly the guarantees issued by EximBank in the name and the account of the Romanian state. Thus, SME clients now have access to funding instruments in better conditions, such as a a guaranteed percent of maximun 80 percent in case of investment credits and of maximum 70 percent in case of funding for current activities, including letters of guarantee.

The maximum value of crediting facilities stands at up to RON 1.5 million credit. The credit’s maturity is tailored to the customer, namely 5 years, loans for investment projects, 12 months for loans to support current activity, 24 months in the case of letters of guarantee. The package also offers financing in the national currency in order to avoid risks connected to foreign currencies as well as free expert advice through support in choosing the best options for funding and setting up credit file.
