Orange Romania announced it is launching new services in Cluj-Napoca, Iasi and Timisoara, for fixed Internet, digital cable TV and fixed telephony, thus becoming a fixed-mobile convergent operator. The company will be expanding its home services to the rest of the country by the end of the year.

Orange Home will provide its clients optic fiber Internet with speeds of up to 1 Gbps, digital or satellite cable TV, fixed voice services, but also solutions for monitoring and remote home control.

The internet offer includes three types of service packages (download speed of 100 Mbps, 500 Mbps or 1 Gbps), depending on the client’s needs, all of them including Wi-Fi routers. At the same time, the TV service will allow clients to access Orange TV Go from their mobile devices or laptops.

The Smart Home option allows customers to supervise their homes remotely, with the option of receiving SMS or e-mail alerts when movement sensors are activated, but also to start filming via a Wi-Fi camera.

Orange Romania is a telecom provider in Romania with 10 million customers at the end of March 2016 and annual revenues of EUR 935.5 million. Orange Romania is part of the Orange Group, one of the largest communication companies in the world with over 252 million customers on five continents.
