Oasis Retail& Development Consulting, a developer from Sibiu with an experience of 14 years on the Romanian commercial centers market, announces the start of the construction works for the project Prima Shops from Oradea, a retail park worth EUR 12 million.

The project is placed in the center of the city where 60,000 citizens are living, while the secondary area, situated at less than 10 minutes of driving exceeds 150,000 citizens.

“When we chose Oradea for the Prima Shops development, we considered the unemployment rate, respectively 3.6 percent, one of the lowest from the country, the income per capita, which is over the national average, as well as the important university center, with 3,000 graduates annually,” said Kurt Wagner, shareholder within Oasis Retail& Development Consulting.

“The development of Oradea from the last years was spectacular. The long term vision of the city heads was successful, so that the created industrial parks attracted both workplaces and new investments. All these elements indicate a good consumption demand and a demand for modern trade spaces,” added Wagner.

The financing for this project will be covered the developer’s own capital and the finalization of the first phase is forecasted for March 2017 and the second phase (other 5,000 square meters) will be delivered on the last quarter of 2017.

The leasing process has already started and the agent for the new commercial gallery is real estate consultancy Colliers International.

“As a result of the discussions with the potential tenant, we are convinced that we’ll have a leasing rate of 100 percent at the opening and we hope to bring new brands in Oradea,” said Klaus Reisenauer, shareholder within Oasis Retail&Development Consulting.
