Since the beginning of the year, the number of hotels and pensions for sale on the Romanian seaside and in mountain resorts has gone up by 30 percent compared to last autumn, according to Mediafax which cites data from real estate portal imopedia.ro.
There are over 100 hotels and pensions for sale available with prices ranging between EUR 11,000 and EUR 6.5 million.
“If during the autumn months there were about 70 to 80 hotels and pensions for sale on our website, presently their number has increased by 30 percent. In January the offer reached a new high for the past 12 months with more than 100 sale offers available,” said imopedia.ro representatives.
The most expensive hotel for sale costs EUR 6.5 million and is located in Predeal in the Clabucet area. Over 80 percent of the offers available are concentrated in five counties: Brasov (22.7 percent), Constanta (20.6 percent), Bihor (15.5 percent), Prahova (12.4 percent) and Cluj (11.3 percent).
