Nobel Oil Downstream is opening its second filling station in Romania. The unit, for which construction works took three months to finish, is located in Constanta, on 154 Soseaua Mangaliei.
“The opening of this gas station is a very good sign and shows that UK investors are ready to continue working in Romania. I am glad that it is a modern gas station and I’m sure it will be useful to citizens in Constanta and Dobrogea in general. I wish continued success to Nobel Oil,” stated Paul Brummel, Great Britain’s Ambassador to Romania during the opening ceremony.
The station has three dispensers which can serve up to six vehicles simultaneously and provides clients with the outdoor payment terminal (OPT) solution.
“The opening of the second filling station reflects the successful development of Nobel Oil in the downstream segment of the energy industry. We expect continued growth this year with three more stations. Market demand is high and we anticipate positive results,” said Gustaf Nobel, member of Nobel Oil’s directorate.
Beside bringing the OPT technology for the first time to Romania, Nobel Oil stations differ through their energetic independence, brought on by the use of photovoltaic panels, and their partnership with international courier DHL, which provides clients with parcel distribution services within the filling stations.
Nobel Oil Downstream is a subsidiary of UK Nobel Oil Services, a company active in upstream and downstream services. The company started local operations in 2014. Its first Romanian station was opened in December 2015, in Iasi.
