Newsroom 15/07/2016 | 13:34

The France Embassy at Bucharest announces that additional security measures were taken around official French institutions in Romania after the terrorist attack in Nice.

The Embassy says that after the Nice attack, the French flags from Romania were left half mast.

It also thanks „those who expressed their sympathy and support for the French nation” and announced the opening of a new sympathy ceremony on July 15, but it also thanks the Romanian authorities „for their promptitude of their reaction and their availability.”

Moreover, an online sympathy registry was opened on the French Embassy site. Representatives from the highest Romanian authorities, diplomats and multiple citizens submitted messages in support for the French people after the attack.
