New public sector wage bill gets approved by government

The government approved today the new public sector wage bill from which 650,000 people from central public administration will benefit, says Dragoș Pislaru, the minister of labor.

Pislaru says that this ordinance is about people that communicated their frustration from the system and the encouragements in order to solve these disfunctionalities. Therefore, he claims that they are trying to correct some inequalities, some important disfunctionalities gathered in several years in the wage public system after a failed trial in 2010 of a law that never applied although it could have been applied since some years ago.

Last week, he was announcing that the proposal of the government will be discussed with the union partners from Education sector. He was waiting for the end of the week with the union partners to reconfirm their position regarding the Government proposal.
