Network One Distribution goes on with regional expansion, seeks 10 percent growth in 2012

In line with its ambitions to become a regional player on the market of electro-IT distribution in Central and Eastern Europe, Network One Distribution seeks to expand its operations in Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine and Hungary by 2014.

The company closed 2011 with a turnover of EUR 200 million and forecasts it will see its business grow by 10 percent this year.

Sales of TV sets represented 10 percent of the company’s turnover last year.

Recently, Network One Distribution signed a partnership with Philips regarding the distribution of TV sets on the Romanian market.

“Television sets continued to be in 2011 the engine of electro-IT market with sales soaring by 17 percent in our estimations. The partnership with Philips TV will bring us a growth in the market share up to 16 percent, compared to 11 percent in 2011,” according to Razvan Ziemba, general director Network One Distribution (in picture).

The local market of TV sets is dominated by HD Ready and Full HD with a diagonal of 32 inches (81 centimeters). The trend is to go towards the 40 and 42 inches TV sets (101-106 cm). TV sets with LED technology are the most sought for.
