Net average wage increased by 2.3 percent in November 2011 due to holiday bonuses

The net average wage in Romania was RON 1.491 (approximately EUR 340) last November, going up by RON 34 compared to the previous month, according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INS). Y-o-y the net average wage went up by 8.3 percent in November 2011.

The wage increases of last November were generated by various holiday bonusess ays INS.

The highest level was reported by in the financial sector (RON 3.705) while employers working in hotels and restaurant reported the lowest average (RON 857).
