National Library reopens on World Book and Copyright Day

The National Library reopens today, April 23rd, on the World Book and Copyright Day, in a new headquarters located in the Unirii Blvd.

The institution spans over 5 floors and includes 13 reading rooms, and an auditorium with 400 seats, as it will also be used as a center for conferences.

The library comprises 30,000 square meters for storaging books and 15,000 square meters of multifunctional spaces for exhibitions, book stores and cafes.

The total investment in the construction of the new National Library has exceeded EUR 100 million.
