Narcoffee Roasters, the coffee chain owned by Marcelus Suciu, the founder of Marty Restaurants and Dan Isai, the founder of Salad Box, registered a turnover of over RON 30 million in the first year since its official entry on the market, the first coffee shop opened at the beginning of 2017, in Cluj-Napoca.
The results obtained in the first year of activity were generated by the four coffee shops Narcoffee Roasters on the local and international market.
The first location was opened at the beginning of 2017, in the center of Cluj-Napoca, on a surface of 60 sqm, followed by the second location in The Office, with the headquarter in the same city, on 100 sqm.
In the summer of 2017, the two entrepreneurs from Cluj have invested in the opening of the third unit in the network of the Cluj project and the first in Bucharest, within the commercial center AFI Palace Cotroceni. Moreover, in 2017 Narcoffee Roasters has opened the fourth location in the network and the first franchise at Prague, located in the commercial center Chodov.
Out of the four locations launched in the first year of activity, the first coffee shop, placed in the center of Cluj-Napoca was also the most popular.
“In 2017 our investments went mostly in the launch of the four coffee shops in the network. We strongly believe that the network expansion potential is very high, and this is why this year we want co continue the expansion at local level, especially in Bucharest, where we estimate other two work units, but also at international level, in Czech republic, France, UK and USA, said Dan Isai, co-founder Narcoffee Roasters.
According to the company’s representatives, there is an increase in the coffee consumption, and this is reflected in the sales volume registered by the coffee chain, which sold over 150,000 coffees in the first year of launch, the most popular being flat white, cappuccino and latte.
