Ministry of Health has EUR 1.6mln to improve services in the public sector

A fund of RON 7 million (approximately EUR 1.6 million) will be available for the Ministry of Health to improve the quality and efficiency of services in the Romanian health system as part of a project financed via European funds.

The project called Good Governance With Integrity and Responsibility in the Romanian Health System launched today will be implemented until November 2013, being co-financed from the European Social Fund via the Operational Programme Administrative Capacity Development.

While the total value of the project is RON 7 million (EUR 1.6 million), the non-reimbursable funds amount to nearly RON 6 million (in excess of EUR 1.3 million).
