Ministry of Administration and Internal Affairs launches EUR 8.8mln project

The Ministry of Administration and Internal Affairs (MAI) has launched an extensive three-stage project regarding setting up an economic- financial data base for the local public administration, which amounts to approximately EUR 8.8 million (RON 37.754,000).

The project is about setting up an operational integrated IT system that should allow the report, analysis and publication of financial, non-financial and statistical data regarding the performance of the local public administration.

The first phase refers to the design of the IT system and the data base structure and will be worth around EUR 869,000 (RON 3,743,000).

The second phase will be the implementation of the IT system and the data base which will amount to EUR 6.9 million (RON 29,761,000). The third stage

The third stage refers to training of the personnel responsible with the maintenance of the system as well as of the personnel in the administrative units who will be using the system. The value of the third stage of the project amounts to approximately EUR 986,000 (RON 4,250,000).

 

 

*The project is entitled “Making the Architecture of the Information System and the Structure of the Economic- Financial Data Base of the Local Public Administration- BDAPL” and was launched via MAI’s Direction for Local Fiscal and Budgetary Policies. It is financed from the European Social Fund through the Operational Programme called Administrative Capacity Development.
