Project based on the Social European Funds could be implemented in Romania, as the European Funds delegate minister, Rovana Plumb, discussed with the European commissioner for employment, skills and labour mobility, Marianne Thyssen.
“People investment is the most important investment that we could make to answer the future needs of the work market and from this point of view we concentrated on launching, through the Operational Programme Human Capital, as many possible financing lines, ” stated Rovana Plumb.
Thyssen reminded that Europe should be a place where everyone has a job, saying that a more accelerated rhythm of human capital investment at a Member States level is needed.
The Operational Programme Human Capital launched 35 guides for project worth EUR 2.16 billion by the end of September and 28 project calls in 2017 with a budget of EUR 1.42 billion.
