Miele puts EUR 24 mln into Brasov factory

The plant in Romania is Miele's fourth outside its home country Germany, with current units running in Austria, the Czech Republic and China. The factory in Brasov produces electronic components which are then integrated into electronics and home appliances produced by Miele. The company decided to invest in this unit after its factory in Germany reached maximum capacity. Works on the project started at the end of last year, after the company acquired a 13.4-hectare site in the Feldioara-Halchiu industrial park.
