Miele, the company specialized in premium household appliances production, opened its third store from Romania in Constanta, following an EUR 120,000 investment. With a surface of 100 sqm, it is placed in the historical center of Constanta.

„The store was set up under the same concept and design as the store Miele Point from Bucharest. The space from Constanta is part of the Miele consolidation strategy of the brand in Romania and we estimate that in 2-3 years it will generate approximately 5-7 percent of the sales. We chose this time the center of Constanta because it’s one of the biggest ones from Romania, so there’s potential and we thought that it’s the main destination of Romanians during summer time,” said Loredana Butnaru, director Miele Romania.

Miele Point Constanta joins the two stores from Bucharest, as well as the exclusive stores chain opened in franchise system in Sibiu, Targu Mureș, Deva, Brasov and Cluj-Napoca.

Overall there are 60 stores in Romania. Miele started as a family business, owned by Miele and Zinkann, reaching currently 18,000 employees. In the financial year 2016-2017, it obtained sales of EUR 3.71 billion.
