Local proximity retailer MIC.RO, part of Mercadia Holland BV, expanded its network of stores to 600 units, opened in over 50 large cities and localities. Since its establishment in April 2010 the company has so far invested EUR 45 million in its expansion.
“We continue to invest in a consistent presence at the level of every region to consolidate our position as the main player in proximity retail in Romania,” said Richard Mansel, CEO of MIC.RO and MACRO.
MIC.RO’s stores have sale areas of 35 – 50 sqm in the case of fixed units and 20 sqm in the case of mobile units.
