Metro Cash & Carry opens today its fifth cash and & carry store in Bucharest (Metro Policolor) located on Theodor Pallady Blvd. The company has invested approximately EUR 20 million in opening this new store, bringing the company’s total investment so far in Romania to approximately EUR 500 million, company representatives have announced.
Metro Policolor has a retail surface of 8,300 sqm and about 19,000 items on sale.
Metro Cash& Carry has entered the Romanian market in 1996 and currently has a network of 25 stores.
