MedLife’s net profit up by over 3 times to RON 6.4 mln in H1

Medical operator MedLife registered an increase in the net profit by over 3 times to RON 6.4 million in the first semester of the year, compared with the first semester of 2016. 

The turnover increased by 28.76 percent, compared with the similar period of 2016, to RON 301.09 million. MedLife registered operational revenues of RON 310.41 million in the first semester of 2017, by 32.5 percent higher than in the first semester of 2016.

At the same time, the operational expenses increased by 31.06 percent to RON 292.54 million. The company mentions in the report submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) that it was “due mainly to the significant increases in all the business lines of the group, as well as in the acquisition of the group in 2016 and 2017. ”

The most important growth was in “other revenues”, respectively RON 4.91 million, compared with RON 627,000, as a result of the sales and leaseback transaction for the company building from Banu Manta.

The total assets of MedLife on June 30 were worth RON 523.54 million, by 12.32 percent higher due to acquisition processes.

The company was listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) in December 2016.
