Medlife takes over Anima network

Private healthcare services provider Medlife has finished the acquisition process of the clinics network Anima, integrating over 200 employees, according to a notification submitted to the Bucharest Stock Stock Exchange (BVB).

„Anima Specialty Medical Services comprises 6 polyclinics and a lab, over 200 employees, doctors and support personnel, being the first private medical network with its own network of general practitioners from Romania. At the same time, Anima is one of the biggest suppliers of medical services of ambulatory in contract with the Health Insurances House of Bucharest Municipality (CASMB), covering over 15 specialties,” says a release.

According to the company’s representatives, Anima currently has 75,000 corporate subscribers focused especially on subscriptions that covers services from general practitioners. In 2016, Anima registered a turnover of EUR 5.2 million.
