Marian Popa, managing director for Central and Eastern Europe and the architect of Endava’s expansion in Romania has stepped down from the company.
During his time at Endava, Popa was in charge of the company’s expansion in Central and Eastern Europe and was a member of the Endava Limited board.
“As organizations grow and mature, the role of each person in the company changes and you must see in the future and pursue new challenges. During the past period, I myself was placed in front of such challenges and I decided to leave Endava and pursue them,” said Marian V. Popa.
During his term, Endava went from a center with 100 employees in Chisinau, in the Republic of Moldova, to a company with operational centers in Cluj-Napoca, Iasi and Bucharest, on top of the Chisinau office. Endava has nearly 700 employees in these centers.
“Marian Popa had a valuable contribution in the development of our company over the past 8 years. He has a flair for innovation that was reflected in the way our headquarters look like and in the company’s approach of the training activity organized through Endava University. (…) “His departure is an opportunity for the management team to assert themselves and continue our growth and success in Central and Eastern Europe,“ said John Cotterell, Chief Executive of Endava.
Endava delivers business and IT solutions for large corporations in Great Britain and the United States.
