M&A alert: Prodplast buys production facility of MJ Maillis for over EUR 1.5 million

Plastics manufacturer Prodplast SA has purchased the production facility of MJ Maillis, a company specializing in industrial packaging solutions and complete end of line solutions.

The sale of the production facility, located on the Bucuresti – Targoviste road, was assisted by PeliFilip. The value of the transaction was in excess of EUR 1.5 percent.

The assistance included organizing the due diligence analysis on the vendor side, independent due diligence investigations, negotiations and assisting with all other transactional aspects. PeliFilip lawyers also assisted in relation to the release of the English law governed security package set-up over the property, in the context of the new financing contracted by the buyer and new set of mortgages put in place.
