Linde Gas Romania, the supplier of industrial gases, has finished the acquisition of ITO Industries International Romania and Rodmir Expert, both suppliers of gas in the retail sector.
The deal impacts the industrial gas operations of Linde in Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj-Napoca, Oradea, Targu-Mures, Hunedoara and Ploiesti.
“This deal strengthens the success of our business that has been constantly growing in Romania. It represents our commitment for the continuation of investments in the region,” said Ciprian Islai, the general director of Linde Gas Romania.
Linde Gas Romania operates three Air Separation Units (ASU) in Ramnicu Valcea, Otelu Rosu and Galati, on the premises of ArcelorMittal. The company has three acetylene plants, a hydrogen unit in Ramnicu Valcea, three full range filling stations and a refrigerants filling unit in Bucharest. Additionally, Linde has five oxygen filling stations in Baia Mare, Oradea, Brasov, Iasi and Constanta.
In 2016, Linde Group recorded revenues of EUR 16.9 billion. The conglomerate has operations in over 100 countries and employs around 60,000 people.
