Lidl opens three more stores in Romania

Lidl is consolidating its position on the Romanian market, and is opening three new stores in Bucharest, Pantelimon and Giroc (Timis county). With these new inaugurations, the retailer will reach 220 stores in Romania.

Each of the three stores have a sales area of ​​approximately 1300 sqm and have around 100 parking spaces. With the opening of each unit, 20 new jobs will be created.

On the day of the inauguration,all non-food items will have a 20 percent discount.

The company has 220 stores, 4 logistic centers on Romanian market and around 5,500 employees

Lidl is present in 30 countries around the world and currently operates around 10,500 stores and over 150 logistics centers in 28 countries worldwide, with 260,000 employees.
