The online book retailer Libris.ro grew by 40 percent in the first six months of this year and registered a turnover of RON 18.3 million. ”Romanians’ interest in the printed book increased due to the growing number of titles and promotion mechanisms that help the information spread rapidly to numerous and well-targeted audiences. For Libris.ro it was a very interesting first half of the year, we recorded increases in all categories of books. Along with the Libris.ro team, we managed to grow above the expected level. The figures show that Romanians are more concerned with reading in general, news on the editorial market, but also with personal development, self-knowledge, materials for raising and educating children, ”says Laura Teposu, Libris Development director.
