Le Carrousel Kindergartens announced the opening of their third unit in Bucharest, on 14 Grigore Gafencu Street. The center was inaugurated on October 1 and it is dedicated to children between the ages of 12 months and 6 years and includes 4 groups of up to 14 students, depending on their age. The new nursery is the first in the group where the education system is bilingual, with French and English.

“I opened the first kindergarten in 2014, on Calea Dorobantilor, out of my own need: I wanted a welcoming place for my children, which would encourage early bilingualism (0-6 years) – extremely important in the cognitive development of children – to help them develop their sense of independence and attain a high skill level. I started with a team of 2 educators who were native French speakers and 2 students. The feedback we received was so good that the numbre of requests increased, and in 2018 we expanded into the Pipera area. This year, to cover the strategic points where we’d had multiple requests, we’re continuing this expansion and establishing ourselves in the Herastrau neighborhood. The development of a new unit here came naturally, we identified a space in line with our vision and needs and we decided to take the opportunity!” said Camelia Veteleanu, the founder of Le Carrousel.

The new kindergarten will faithfully follow the brand’s quality standards, adopting the same educational model, which brings the “Nouvelle Education” current together with active pedagogy. Children will have the opportunity to learn by playing and doing practical activities, which encourage interaction, the exchange of ideas and skill development.

All courses and workshops at Le Carrousel Herastrau will be created and supported by carefully selected, experienced educators, who are native speakers of French and English.

“The constant element at the basis of all our units is quality, and this depends directly on our team, made up of experienced professionals, who make children feel protected, appreciated and confident in their strengths. For us, it is vital that we pay more attention to the recruitment and invest consistently in our colleagues. That is why we’re offering them the opportunity to specialize in the Petite Enfance Boris Cyrulnik Romania institute – whose concept approaches the education of children between 0 and 6 years old, from the perspective of the latest discoveries in the field of neuroscience,” added Camelia Veteleanu.

The new Le Carrousel kindergarten in Herastrau district will have an area of approximately 300 square meters, 6 workshop rooms and a garden where children will be able to enjoy outdoor activities during warm seasons. Its operating hours will be from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm. Le Carrousel Herastrau fees start at EUR 350/month, for a 5-day per week program.
