Koton opens EUR 6.5 mln store in Bucharest’s Old Town Center

Koton opens a new store in Bucharest’s Old City in a recently renovated building that kept the details of the initial architecture, on 43 Lipscani Street.

At the cocktail launch event took part, among other important personalities, the Turkish ambassador in Bucharest, Koray Ertas, the commercial Turkey attache in Bucharest, Mukerrem Aksoy, Cristinei Chiriac, the president of the National Entrepreneurs’ Association.

Burak Akbulat, general director of Koton Romania, talked about the new store both from the investment point of view and the one of the new collections that can be found there. Considered to be a challenge when it comes to the investment and the implementation. The investment in the consolidation and renovation of the building amounted to EUR 6.5 million and the works took a year.

„The Old Town Center is an area where our clients spend their spare time and enjoy an authentic place and cultural events. We want to be close to where they feel good and they relax and this is the main reason we chose this location,” said Akbulat at the store opening.

With a surface of 1,850 square meters, spread on three levels, the Koton store from Lipscani 43 is open daily during 10:00-22:00.
