Key Move. Rehau Romania appoints Adin Tabacu as Country Manager

Rehau Romania has appointed Adin Tabacu as its new Country Manager. He is replacing Bela Varga, who held this position for four years.

Tabacu (54 years-old) is a construction engineer and has been working for more than two decades at Rehau Romania in the position of national director of the sales solutions for windows department. Previously, he led construction sites in Romania and Germany as in head of site. He also has a degree in Psychology.

Currently, Rehau Romania has three offices in Bucharest, Cluj and Bacau and employes 100. The company closed 2015 with a RON 229 million turnover (around EUR 52 million), according to data released by the Ministry of Public Finance.

PVC profiles represent the most important share in the company’s sales, generating about two-thirds of the business, but Rehau also sells thermal installations and products for infrastructure or industry.

Products sold on the local market are made in other factories, especially in Germany. The company closed in 2010 the plastic pipe factory in Cisnadie.

Rehau is a leading systems and service provider for polymer-based solutions in construction, automotive and industry.
