Key move. ProCredit Bank appoints new general director

ProCredit Bank, which has German shareholders, has appointed Dr. Antje Marielle Gerhold as general director.

She has taken her new role as of April 21. Gerhold will manage the lender’s operations in Romania together with Mariana Petkova, deputy general director.

Gerhold has previously worked as manager of ProCredit Holding, but also held the position of president of the administration board of the bank. She also worked for Commerzbank and Deloitte Business Consulting.

The new head of the bank said she will focus on improving the services granted for SMEs and individuals on the local market.

ProCredit Bank was founded in 2002 by ProCredit Holding and IPC.
