Key move. Emeline Sykora-Wintrebert appointed as area general manager of Orbis group for South-Eastern Europe

Emeline Sykora-Wintrebert has been appointed as area general manager for South-Eastern Europe responsible for the hotel operations in the region as of March 2018.

Emeline will be based in Bucharest and is in charge of a dynamically growing network of hotels, comprising currently close to 20 properties in South-Eastern Europe located in Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The hotels are operated under the well-known international AccorHotels brands like Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, ibis, ibis Styles.

“Our objective is to continue to strengthen the operational performance of our hotels by ensuring a unique and personalized guest experience together with all our motivated and committed talents, as well as to further develop our cooperation with our valued partners and hotel owners,” said Emeline Sykora-Wintrebert.

With more than 10 years of experience, Emeline has worked for AccorHotels in various countries. Starting her career in operations, she was the General Manager of ibis London Stratford. She then moved to Revenue Management where she held different positions in the UK then in the Czech Republic. Recently, she was the Development Manager for South-Eastern Europe, based in Bucharest, responsible for Czech Republic and Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia and the Balkan countries.

She is taking over her new position from Frank Reul, who has been appointed as Head of Development for Orbis / AccorHotels Eastern Europe.
