Key move. Deloitte Romania appoints Dinu Bumbacea as consulting practice head

Deloitte Romania announces that Dinu Bumbacea will join the firm to strengthen the Deloitte consulting practice as partner-in-charge, effective December 2017. Oana Petrescu, who has led Deloitte Consulting during the past five years, will dedicate to an entrepreneurial career in consulting and turnaround management.

“I am glad that Dinu has accepted to take over the leadership of Deloitte Consulting. Dinu is an experienced professional well anchored in the Romanian business environment. I believe that under his leadership, Deloitte Consulting will continue to strengthen those areas in which we have started and to scale up the impact of the services in which Deloitte already excels, such as consultancy for high growth companies, energy and sustainability, or public sector,” said Oana Petrescu.

Bumbacea has an experience of over 24 years of which 17 as a partner. During his career, he has coordinated numerous consulting projects in Romania, Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Bumbacea specializes in financial services, oil & gas industry, telecom, public sector, pharmaceuticals and private equities.

With almost 700 staff, Deloitte Romania is coordinated by 18 partners and 32 directors.
