Intact denies Prima TV takeover

Intact Media Group has officially denied media speculations that it is in the process of taking over the German trust ProSiebenSat1, which comprises the TV channels Prima TV and Kiss TV, and the radio channels Kiss FM, Magic FM and Rock FM.

 Media speculations were that the price of the transaction was approximately EUR 40 million. 

 “Intact Media Group sticks to its target of being leader on the media market in Romania, mainly via organic development. We would like to state that the rumors regarding the imminent takeover of the German media trust ProSiebenSat1 are not real,” said a pres release of the company.

 Intact Media Group reaches over 10 million Romanians via a strong brand portfolio in television, written pres, radio, online and production such as Antena1, Antena 3, Jurnalul National, Radio ZU or gsp.ro.
