Romanian managers expect business and prices growth in all sectors until October, especially in trade, according to the data published on Monday on the National Institute of Statistics (INS).

The data shows some changes from the previous report regarding the economic tendencies, published at the end of July, when managers estimated a bigger growth of businesses.

For the interval August-October, the lowest conjunctural balance was recorded in the manufacturing industry, namely a 6 percent decrease, compared with the previous report (+ 8 percent).

„The manufacturing activity of other products from non-metallic minerals will register a more significant growth tendency ( balance of 25 percent),” according to INS report.

The conjunctural balance reflects the difference between the positive and negative expectations expressed by the surveyed managers. A positive balance shows a  higher number of companies which have growing expectations of the activity or orders, while a negative conjunctural balance shows the decreasing expectations of the activity in the analyzed sector.

Managers in the services sector have less optimistic expectations, with a conjunctural balance of 11 percent (13 percent in the previous report).

Also the constructions sector is expected to grow, but the estimations are lower, the conjunctural balance for August-October standing at 9 percent.

In trade field, the economic activity is expected to register an accelerated growth, the balance standing at 18 percent.
