Innoship supports Yves Rocher on its mission to reconnect communities with nature

Since July 2021, Innoship, the tech company that combines technology and know-how from couriers, supply chain, and retail industries, streamlines the delivery process for  Yves Rocher eCommerce platform.

 

As enthusiasts of nature, the creators of Yves Rocher started on a mission to reconnect people with nature. Their ambition has always been to act in harmony with the surrounding environment. This vision, dedicated to women’s beauty, which started in La Gacilly, France, has always guided the company as the main pillar of our concept, Cosmétique Végétale®.

In La Gacilly, Yves Rocher owns 60 hectares and plants that are grown in a Biological Agriculture system. This is where we grow the plants that later become the active ingredients of the company’s product formulas.

The design of Yves Rocher products is ecological, based on vegetal ingredients, and the packing materials are made following a 100% ecological approach that respects two directions:

  • Reducing the consumption of primary materials, such as paper or plastic
  • Using only recyclable materials that are made out of recyclable primary materials

 

This is why all the packaging of Yves Rocher products has been created out of 100% recycled and recyclable plastic since October 2020. Throughout 2020, the Familal group, the inventor of Cosmétique Végétale®, wrote a new page in its history by officially adopting the status of « Mission Driven Company ». This public engagement underlines our desire to make our company’s social mission as important as our economic mission. Together with the Rocher Group, which it belongs to, the Yves Rocher brand believes in the positive impact nature has on our wellbeing.

 

Yves Rocher Foundation plants 200.000 trees in Romania

In 2007, Yves Rocher Foundation launched the “Să Plantăm Pentru Planetă” program with the goal of planting 1 million trees in the entire world with the help of its local collaborators.  Yves Rocher Foundation started this tree-planting program to revive the soil, stop landslides, and reconnect humans to the energy of nature and the magic of trees. 13 years later, 1 million trees became 100 million trees planted by the Yves Rocher Foundation. In Romania, the foundation helped plant 200.000 trees so far. By planting trees together with its community of women and men, the Yves Rocher brand choses life and biodiversity.

Since its creation, Yves Rocher brand has supported the Foundation in its endeavours and involved its employees and partners in contributing to reforestation, working towards a better common future. This means a huge voluntary movement, people without whom this program wouldn’t have been possible. As the main sponsor of the Yves Rocher Foundation, the Yves Rocher brand thanks everyone who helped reach this goal: employees, partners, collaborators, associations, and local NGOs. Today, thanks to the over one million people involved in the program, one tree is planted every three seconds.

Together, we created a setup that can offer us the best operation matrix.  Innoship’s interface also helped us access additional delivery options through fixed pick-up points, so we can offer our eMAG Marketplace clients the newest and trendiest alternative delivery options. Innoship helps Yves Rocher process 16,000 orders per month and brings it closer to its customers

Currently working with two last-mille couriers which are considered to be the most representative in the industry, about 16,000 orders are processed every month.

Innoship helps Yves Rocher gain customer loyalty…

…by accessing a large variety of reports, from management reports (number of packages on-route, courier performance per region, shipping costs) to operational reports that give information about the delivery flow (order tracking, delivery management, return management, and more).

One functionality that’s very important is Innoship’s notification system because it keeps the customer more engaged in the delivery process by accessing a link and being able to see the delivery status in real time, no matter which courier is handling the delivery.
