Luxury retailer Helvetansa expects to sell around 50 percent, approximately six pieces, of the Carl F. Bucherer watches on display by the end of the year, according to Adrian Stoican, managing director of Helvetansa.
This is an optimistic outlook given that the current economic context makes it difficult to estimate future sales.
The retailer has recently added another brand to its local portfolio, bringing Carl F. Bucherer timepieces to Romania. The Swiss manufacturer will be present on the local market with watches from three collections.
Prices generally range between EUR 3,400 and EUR 20,500.
Although 2009 saw a significant drop in the luxury industry, Gregor Alexander Huni, sales manager for Europe at the watchmaker, says the Romanian market is mature enough and ready for the company’s products.
