HBO launches internet streaming service in Romania

HBO Central Europe launched in Romania HBO GO, the internet streaming service available to HBO subscribers with a broadband internet connection. The service in Romania will be accessible to customers that have broadband internet and an HBO Maxpak subscription.

The introduction of HBO GO in Romania follows recent launches of HBO GO in Poland and the Adria region, that is, Serbia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is part of a wider strategy of rolling out HBO GO across the region.

In Romania HBO GO will available initially to iNES IPTV clients. iNES IPTV is available in Bucharest and the Voluntari-Ilfov area.

HBO GO allows subscribers to watch selected programming on their computers whenever they want, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and provides the subscriber with over 100 hours a month of a variety of programming: films, series, documentaries and concerts.
